Anton Vrlić

Anton Vrlić was born in Split in 1957. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1982 in Prof. Raoul Goldoni's class. He has consistently worked across visual art disciplines, focusing particularly on glass over the past two decades. From 2007 to 2023, he taught Glass and Painting in the Department of Applied Arts at the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka. As an external lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, he led the elective course Techniques and Art of Glass for almost two decades. He has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. A monograph on his work by Borivoj Popovčak was published in 2009 by the National and University Library and Knjigra in Zagreb.
