Biography
Fu Liming (1975) is an artist from Chengdu whose practice centres on a posthuman aesthetics of the sensory perception of objects, exploring shifting relationships between people, technology, nature and contemporary life. Presented in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, his works combine Eastern aesthetic traditions with an innovative visual language. They examine inner feelings, interpersonal relationships and spiritual bonds in an era of rapid social and technological change, and thus also raise questions about our shared future. Dialogue lies at the heart of his practice: between people, between the individual and the world, between the material and the digital, and between the present and the future. His representative work Dialog v trenutku (Dialogue in the Moment) invites an experience of quiet, sincere communication and reflection on closeness, trust and encounters with others that are also encounters with oneself.
