Biography
She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, graduating in 1990 under Prof. Emerik Bernard. Nature is her great passion. For many years, Charles Darwin and his grandfather Erasmus were the principal subjects of her work. In Charles's birthplace, Shrewsbury, the school he attended celebrated the bicentenary of his birth with her fresco. She works mainly in fresco and watercolour and has also ventured into animated film. In recent years, she has intensively explored the aquatic world and its symbolism in medieval frescoes. She most enjoys reading and spending time tending her plot. An independent artist, she lives and works in Škofja Loka and Poljane.
