Nevena Živić

Nevena Živić was born in Sombor, Republic of Serbia, in 1990 and grew up in Baranja. In 2009, she completed the School of Textile, Design and Applied Arts in Osijek, specialising in painting design. In 2016, she obtained a master's degree in painting at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka under Prof. Anton Vrlić and Berislav Valušek, with the thesis Igra obarvanih polj – simbolika barve (The Play of Coloured Fields – The Symbolism of Colour). That same year, she completed supplementary psychology and pedagogy courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. She is a member of HDLU Rijeka and Creative Industries of Europe and collaborates on various projects as an external restorer. She initiated the Waking up project. She lives and works in Rijeka.
