Biography
Born in Ljubljana in 1986. In 2011, she obtained a master's degree in Theatre, Film and Media Studies (Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft) from the University of Vienna, and in 2018 a master's degree in Painting – Video and New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. During her studies, she contributed to lighting design, film and production projects. Afterwards, she worked on book projects as a photographer and designer and wrote film reviews and articles for Ekran magazine and Pogledi newspaper. Since 2013, she has worked as a journalist and editor at Radio Slovenija's Ars programme, producing and editing cultural broadcasts. Since 2024, she has also produced her own summer series, Izrazi doma (Expressions of Home), devoted to architecture and interiors. She has participated in exhibitions including Oikonomija (2016), an exhibition of ALUO students at the Faculty of Social Sciences (2017), and the Nature Video Festival at Bežigrad Gallery 2 (2017). In 2019, she presented the video installation Trajanja, prisotnosti (Durations, Presences) at Finžgar Gallery in Ljubljana. Her practice explores remembrance, identity, family and other interpersonal bonds, with attention to space and the individual within it, fleeting moments, transience, intimacy and longing.
